This alarm offers a modern 5” design ideal for all living spaces. Cutting edge technology sends fast alerts that give your family more time to get out safely and enhanced sensing technology reduces false alarms often caused by cooking.

Comprehensively tested and designed to the latest UL standard for safety and reliability, this Kidde DETECT alarm is powered by 120V AC with 2 AA replaceable backup batteries (included) for continual detection even during outages.

Plus, it’s self-testing and easy to install with the included twist-and-click mounting bracket. Equipped with end-of-life notifications, the alarm will beep to remind you it’s time to replace it 10 years after it is powered. The alarm also has interconnected alarm activation so you never miss an emergency and can get out faster.

Special Instructions
Replace in room hard wired smoke detectors Gentex 9000 outdated with approved or equal smoke detectors that have to be hard wired into place, as a 1 for 1 replacement located at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Fear Hall.

All work to be completed within 10 business days.

The dormitory will be occupied at the time and the vendor will need to be escorted. Schedules will be required to be prearranged. A one year warranty on the installation will be required. Parking will be accommodated up to (2) contractor vehicles any vehicle after that will be paid for by the vendor.

All work shall be performed in accordance with the Minimum Wage Rate Schedule and Chapter 104, HRS. The Minimum Wage Rate Schedule is available at: http://labor.hawaii.gov/rs/home/wages/72-2/.
