Project Description: The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to perform all work related to replacing the existing fire alarm system in the Hawaii Army National Guard (HIARNG) MEDCOM Building 46 with a new fire alarm system. The Contractor shall ensure that the new system is activated after installation. The Contractor is also responsible for producing As-builts that show locations, quantities, details, and specifications of all newly installed system components. Approximate fire alarm system components to be demolished and installed are listed below*:
▪︎ Demolish seven (7) existing manual pull stations and install ten (10) new addressable manual pull stations.
▪︎ Demolish seven (7) existing combination audio/visual alarm devices and install ten (10) new speaker strobes.
▪︎ Demolish 108 existing smoke detectors and install 108 new smoke detectors
▪︎ Demolish one (1) existing fire alarm control panel, one (1) existing fire alarm interface panel, and one (1) existing fire alarm transmitter panel and install one (1) new intelligent addressable fire alarm control panel and one (1) new fire alarm annunciator
o Including necessary batteries, surge protectors, 10 AMP power supplies (including 10 AMP NAC power supply), fire cell communicators, etc.
o Including necessary electrical components to make required runs (wiring, conduit, junction boxes, core drills, fire stopping, etc.)
