Project Description: Under the HIDOE’s Heat Abatement Program, air conditioning (AC) units powered by solar or photovoltaic (PV) systems have been installed at various schools on the islands of Oahu, Maui, and Kauai. In the event a PV system breaks down and/or malfunctions, the HIDOE will investigate and collect information and, through this RFP, may authorize repair or maintenance, including other remedial work, through the winning offeror resulting from this solicitation, for services on the island of Kauai. The HIDOE seeks the award of a contract of an indefinite quantity pursuant to which the CONTRACTOR may perform as-needed repair or maintenance on PV systems at various schools on the island of Kauai.
