Project Description: The purpose of this RFP 25-05-PI is to solicit proposals from Hawaii-based licensed contractors registered to do business in the State, that have experience with the locating, hauling, and proper disposing of green waste on Oahu, Hawaii, Maui and Kauai Counties. Refer to the Objectives and Measurable Outcomes section of the RFP for the specific requests for each county. Priority will be given to eligible contractors that have experience with locating, hauling and proper disposing of green waste. Landscape experience in the county will be considered in the evaluation of the proposals. To achieve this goal, the HDOA announces the availability of approximately $800,000 in general funds for these Biosecurity Projects. There will be four awards -- $400,000 for O’ahu, $200,000 for Hawai’i County, $100,000 for Maui County and $100,000 for Kaua’i County. Proposals are encouraged from eligible Hawaii-based licensed contractors registered to do business in the State, with experience to perform the locating, hauling and proper disposing of green waste. Offerors may submit a separate proposal for each county where they have a presence and perform work in the county.
