Project Description: Evaluate, repair and test lawn and landscape irrigation systems at various location on Oahu, as noted on Attachment A. Bidder must possess a current Irrigation and Lawn Sprinkler Systems contractor\'s license, C-37b at the time of award. The sequence of work will require the contractor to review various existing irrigation systems, as directed by the State, provide a written time and materials proposal to repair, stating the reason for failure, and the proposed labor and material to repair and adjust the irrigation system for continuous operation and in accordance with the best commercial practices. Upon approval of a proposal by the contracting officer, the contractor shall proceed with the repair within 5 working days or as agreed upon by the Contract Administrator. All services performed will be subject to inspection and acceptance by the Contract Administrator. Provide a 90 day written labor and materials warranty on all repair – Contractor will not be held liable for acts of vandalism. A $15,000 materials allowance will be added to the labor bid and added to form a total award amount. Example, the lowest labor bid is $25,000, the State will add a $15,000 materials allowance for a total award of $40,000.
